If you’re like me, spiritual abundance might sound like a phrase that’s hard to decipher. What is spiritual abundance really about? Is it talking about being a very spiritual person, more abundantly spiritual than others?
Actually, after reading so many books and attended so many classes on the subject, I personally came to the conclusion that the ability to tap into our deepest inner self while allowing the Universe to provide for our needs is a good definition.
Believe it or not, like it or not, we are all spiritual beings. Whether we’re religious or we do anything spiritual on a day to day basis or not, we have a spiritual side. Some people define their spirituality with a religion, while others believe that their connection to the world around them and nature defines that side of themselves.
Regardless of how we define it, we can gain a better understanding of our spiritual self and our ability to achieve spiritual abundance by following a few basic steps.
Step 01: Believe
Attracting abundance and attracting prosperity are basically the same thing. And the first step to achieving them is by believing that it’s possible. For most of us, this is the hardest thing to learn about spiritual abundance because we have been conditioned to believe that it’s so difficult to get anywhere in life.
But don’t let this difficulty discourage you. Always keep in mind the wise words of internationally renowned author, Louise L. Hay, “A thought is just a thought and a thought can be changed.”
Step 02: Choose and Visualize
Prosperous thinking and prosperous visualization follow the basic principle that if we picture something and believe that it’s possible, we can make it happen in our lives. Needless to say it’s necessary for us to learn to do this when it comes to our happiness and success, our health, our financial situation, our relationships, and any situation in our lives we want to change with spiritual abundance.
For instance, if we cannot picture ourselves with a large bank account, with bills that are paid, with no debt or less debt, we won’t attract those things to us. But abundance can most definitely be ours if we’ll learn to first decide what it is that we want and then decide that it can be ours.
Some people write checks to themselves. Some people use a fake million dollar bill. But they focus on these things, they look at them frequently – sometimes several times a day – and they learn to believe that they will have these things.
Step 03: Feel Good
The law of abundance basically teaches us to tap into the power of our minds and our beliefs to achieve our dreams. It is prosperous thinking and prosperous visualization amplified and focused to an even sharper point. Instead of just feeling good in general, we’ll use that good feeling toward a specific thing.
If we want to get out of debt, pay off our car or our house, or afford a vacation, we will most likely need a specific amount of money to do those things. And it may seem like too large an amount of money. We might think that there’s no way we can get that much money for those things any time soon.
Instead we see months, maybe years, of scraping and sacrificing other things in order to be able to afford it. Because we can picture that and we believe it, we ensure it will happen that way.
Let’s shift our thinking instead to see ourselves effortlessly coming into the money to enable these things in our lives, and we will attract spiritual abundance.
